The CNC Machinist manufactures mechanical seal components to meet customer requirements, combining print interpretation, machine setup and operation, measurement, programming fundamentals, and disciplined shop practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Read drawings, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining sequence and methods.
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills as required.
  • Select and use inserts, fixtures, and tooling correctly.
  • Interpret and write basic machine codes or programs as needed.
  • Perform tool-wear offsets and make process adjustments within job requirements.

The O₂ Cleaning Technician performs specialized chemical and precision-cleaning processes for components used in oxygen-enriched and other high-purity services, protecting product integrity and reducing combustion or contamination risks.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform controlled acid cleaning, including approved citric or nitric processes, to remove oxides, scale, and contamination.
  • Clean equipment and instrumentation for oxygen service in accordance with defined industry and company standards.
  • Clean equipment for chlorine service using service-specific safety and contamination-control procedures.
  • Pickle and passivate stainless-steel and alloy components to improve corrosion resistance.
