Temperature Compensating Remote Seals
Differential pressure (D/P) remote seal systems have long suffered from one unavoidable issue—measurement drift caused by ambient temperature changes.
Until now.
Haygor’s Temperature Compensating Remote Seal System is a proprietary solution engineered to eliminate drift at the source, delivering stable, accurate measurements regardless of environmental conditions.
What Is Temp Comp?
At its core, the system is simple in concept—but powerful in execution: Two diaphragm seals connected to a single transmitter, enhanced by a patented temperature compensation design. Unlike traditional systems that rely solely on standard capillary lines, Haygor integrates a secondary set of compensating capillaries that actively counteract temperature-induced pressure changes.
What it solves
The Problem It Solves Traditional remote seal systems are highly sensitive to:
- Ambient temperature swings
- Direct sunlight exposure
- Expansion of fill fluids in capillaries
These factors introduce false differential pressure, leading to:
- Inaccurate level readings
- Process instability
- Operator uncertainty
In many cases, operators are forced to:
- “Average” readings
- Add heat tracing
- Accept measurement error as unavoidable
